How long does a video take?
During the beta it depends on the queue. Videos are not instant; they are made in turn.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes. Videos you make during the beta can be used to run your channel and to promote products and services. Just keep the "AI-generated · Virtual person" label, and mark promotions as "Ad" or "Affiliate link". Videos that use another person's face, voice or music without the rights cannot be used commercially. The Terms of Service govern the details.
Do I have to include the virtual person label?
Yes. It is a legal requirement in Korea: since June 2026 an AI virtual person in an ad must be disclosed as a virtual person, and AI-generated content must be labelled. Platforms such as YouTube and TikTok also require a label on realistic videos made with AI. CineSynth adds the label by default from the beta.
Can I use my own voice, or a singer's?
Your own voice, yes: read the verification phrase on screen aloud to record it. Anyone else's voice, singers included, needs that person's consent.
Who holds the copyright to the outputs?
You keep the rights to the photos, voices and text you upload. CineSynth claims no rights in what you generate. Note, though, that AI-generated output may not be protected by copyright under the law. You are responsible for how you use outputs, especially advertising disclosures.
When can I use it?
We are preparing the private beta. When it opens, we invite people from the waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation.
How much does it cost?
It is free during the beta. Full pricing is coming soon.
What kinds of videos can I make?
Dance shorts, product pitches, fashion ads and music videos, all vertical (9:16).
Which languages are supported?
Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese, for both speaking and singing (Japanese singing quality is being checked during the beta). The app is currently available in Korean, English and Chinese.
Can I use a photo of someone else?
No. Another person's face or voice can only be used with their consent. The same goes for celebrities and public figures.
Can I use it from Claude or Codex?
CineSynth MCP is coming soon. Once it is out, you can hand over everything from creating an influencer to a music video in a chat, with the same safeguards and usage limits enforced on the server.
